Scholarship Opportunities
- MLS students at ECU are eligible for several annual library science and other applicable College of Education scholarships. Applications are accepted early each spring semester for scholarships to be awarded in the subsequent fall. Details, application forms, and deadlines can be found on the College of Education Scholarships website.
- The North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA) offers annual scholarships. Applications are submitted online.
- The North Carolina Library Association (NCLA) offers scholarships every two years on the same year as the NCLA conference.
- The North Carolina Community College Library Association (NCCCLA) offers both the Scottie W. Cox and Mertys Bell Scholarships annually.

- American Library Association (ALA) offers a wide variety of scholarships.
Financial Aid
The Office of Student Financial Aid provides education, guidance, and support to individuals and families in the financial aid process. The office administers Federal, State, and Institutional aid programs to students at East Carolina University.
