School Improvement
The ECU Community School collaborates with faculty, staff, community members and families to design strategies to improve
academic achievement within our school. Our plan is developed through conducting an annual needs assessment
and through input from a variety of stakeholders. Our plans are in alignment with federal programs regulations for Title I,
II, IV, and IDEA.

Testing
The ECU Community School is required to notify parents of each student information regarding any State or local educational agency policy regarding student participation in any assessments mandated by section 1111(b)(2) and by the State or local educationl agency, which shall include a policy, procedure, or parental right to opt the child out of such assessment, where applicable.
These tests include: Beginning-of-Grade 3 (BOG3) English Language Arts/Reading Test, End-of-Grade (EOG) Assessment English Language Arts/Reading, Mathematics, Science, and WIDA Screener and WIDA ACCESS Placement Test (W-APT).
