Welcome to the Department of Literacy Studies, English Education and History Education (LEHE)! We are committed to excellence in teacher preparation in the following areas: 9-12 English Education, 9-12 History Education, and K-12 Reading/Literacy Education. Faculty members research significant topics and issues, provide clinical experiences for the application of knowledge in instructional settings, encourage lifelong professional growth and reflection, and are committed to cultivating an inclusive environment with a culture of care, belonging, and opportunity for our faculty, staff, and learners.
