Master’s Student Excellence Award


Award Description

The College of Education Graduate (Master’s) Student Excellence Award honors outstanding graduate (master’s level) students who have shown exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to education and beyond. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who excel in their coursework, actively engage in educational initiatives, and contribute positively to the college and the broader community. Recipients are celebrated for their passion for learning, dedication contributing to a culture of care, belonging, and opportunity for all, and potential to make a significant impact in their intended profession. Their exemplary performance and unwavering dedication to excellence set them apart as future leaders and advocates in their profession.


Awards Per Year

One award will be conferred annually.


Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a master’s level student in the College of Education
  • Have been enrolled in the College of Education for at least one academic semester
  • Demonstrate dedication to excellence, excel in their coursework, actively engage in educational initiatives, and contribute positively to the college and the broader community.
  • Be nominated by a current faculty/staff member in the College of Education
Nomination Application Procedure and Guidelines

Faculty and staff members submitting nominations  on behalf of students should submit all required materials via the form:

  • Cover letter (Not to exceed two pages)
  • Supplemental Material (Not to exceed 3 pages)
