Scholarship and Creative Activities Excellence Award

Award Description

The College of Education Scholarship and Creative Activities Excellence Award recognizes faculty who demonstrate exceptional contributions to research and scholarship that advance the college’s and university’s strategic priorities. This award honors impactful work that generates new knowledge, applies innovative methodologies, and addresses critical issues in education. Recipients exemplify excellence in producing high-quality, peer-reviewed publications, securing external funding, and disseminating research that enhances student success and informs best practices for the field. Awardees also demonstrate a commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and applying research to meaningful solutions to enhance communities.

Awards Per Year

One award will be conferred annually. A financial stipend will be awarded to the winner, contingent upon available funding.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a current full time tenure track/tenured faculty in college of Education
• Have been employed in the COE for at least 1 academic semester
