This session will feature an overview of creating your biosketch in SciENcv. NSF currently requires biosketches to be generated out of this system, and in January of 2025, so will NIH. Faculty are encouraged to bring a laptop or use 2 screens (1 to follow along with the presentation, the second to be logged into SciENcv) if joining by TEAMS, to begin to build your biosketch. This session will be more geared to the process and less geared to the content of the individual biosketch. Facilitator: Mary Lisa Pories The link to join this session is provided in the registration survey below and can be found at https://ofe.ecu.edu/office-for-faculty-excellence/grant-writing-series/

We want prospective students to be well informed about East Carolina University and more specifically, about the College of Education and the fantastic Educator Preparation programs offered.
As a College of Education sponsored event, this program will highlight degree programs that are a part of Educator Preparation Programs as it is our goal to recruit future educators, and to encourage students to consider a career in Education.
During the Counselor Connections event, presentations from the College of Education, ECU Admissions, Academic Advising, Athletics, Financial Aid, Honors College, and Scholarship Programs within the College of Education will be shared to provide you pertinent information and updates within each of these areas.
This event occurs every fall, and is strategically timed to provide information to Counselors to assist prospective students with meeting various ECU deadlines.
