Dr. Allison Crowe, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor in North Carolina, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a past president of the North Carolina Counseling Association. She is Professor of Counselor Education and Acting Department Chair in the Department of Interdisciplinary Professions. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and presented 60 professional presentations to national, state, and regional audiences on topics related to mental health stigma, eradicating biases and stereotypes related to mental illness, mental health literacy, and stigma and domestic violence.
