Special Moments in REI: The ECU AmeriCorps STEM-Corps East program focuses on STEM services in the community, so to be a part of a program that focuses on giving back to students that need help in these core areas of education is rewarding because I was a STEM student myself. The faculty and staff in the REI department are committed to student success and community outreach, and the impact this program has on education can progress students’ lives and set them up for success in the future.
