This scholarship will be awarded to deserving incoming freshmen from eastern North Carolina pursuing a degree in Education through the College of Education and who wish to pursue a career as an educator in North Carolina. Scholarship will be awarded to deserving students who meet the following criteria:
- At least a 3.5 high school GPA (unweighted) or other as determined by committee
- Demonstrated commitment to the study of and a career in education
Interviews
- Will be during the month of February (specific interview days and times will be assigned by the Education Scholars office after the application cycle closes).
- Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by email and mail.
