Rachel Ramirez Person awarded the American Association of University Women Career Development Grant

The ECU COE Counselor Education Program is pleased to announce that Rachel Ramirez Person has been awarded the American Association of University Women Career Development in the amount of $10, 463.88 for the 2019-2020 academic year. This award is highly selective and is a reflection of Rachel’s hard work and excellence. Rachel’s specialization is in Student Affairs and College Counseling. Her goal is to work with first-generation, historically underrepresented, women, and non-traditional students and provide needed supports unique to those populations. She is currently completing her practicum at ECU Career Services and is a Graduate Assistant with College of Engineering and Technology (CET) Advising Center. She is also a member of the Counselor Education Association and Chi Sigma Iota Academic and Professional Honor Society. She enjoys serving as a volunteer coordinator with ECU DanceAbility.
