Pirate Nation Gives Pickleball Tournament – Feb. 27, 2026

The College of Education’s students have challenged the faculty and staff to a pickleball tournament to support the college for Pirate Nation Gives.

The tournament will take place on Friday, February 27 from 2-5 p.m. in Christenbury Gym. This isn’t just a tournament — it’s a day of fun, friendly competition and collaboration. Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the game, there’s a way for everyone to participate:

  • Compete as a player in the tournament
  • Cheer from the sidelines as a spectator
  • Support by donating to the College of Education Community of Scholars Program or the College of Education Priority Fund.

How to Join

  • Donate to the College of Education through ECU Advancement’s website. You may split your donation between the College of Education Priority Fund and the Education Community of Scholars Program, or you may donate to one fund.
    • Donation Levels:
      • Spectator: $10 minimum donation
      • Student Player: $15 minimum donation
      • Faculty, staff or friend of the college player: $20 minimum donation
    • In the Gift Instructions located near the bottom of the page, please write “COE Pickleball.”
    • Complete your donation
  • Fill out the pickleball tournament registration form (for both players and spectators) through the COE Pickleball Formstack.
    • Upload your donation receipt.
  • Start warming up! You will receive more information prior to the event.
