Applications open for study abroad in Prague, Czech Republic
Are you ready for an adventure and teaching in a foreign country? Join the College of Education for an immersive month-long experience in Prague that includes:
- teaching and collaboration in local Czech schools
- engagement with community leaders to explore global partnerships and systemic change
- accommodations, a food stipend, and local transportation
- up to 6 credit hours included (SPED 4020 — all education majors take this course typically in their senior year & SPED 3750 — meets global studies requirement)
The travel dates for this trip are May 22 – June 20, 2026.
The program also features a rich set of guided excursions, including:
- Terezín Memorial, a Holocaust memorial and museum
- Český Krumlov, a top tourist destination
- Museum and historical site tours across Prague
- And many more cultural and educational experiences integrated throughout the month
