Why did you choose to be an educator/professor?
I choose to be an educator because of my passion for working with people who have different abilities. Many times, we refer to this group of individuals as having disabilities, but I like to think of them as having different abilities. More importantly, I wanted to be an educator to also be a support for those individuals specifically from Latino backgrounds. It’s one of my greatest academic passions.
What do you love about ECU?
What’s there not to love? Not only is ECU a wonderful place to teach but it’s a place where you can make lifelong friends. I absolutely love it here.
