Why did you choose education?
I get to be most students’ first interaction with school since I teach 3-5 year old’s with developmental delays. I love helping them learn school rules, find their love for learning, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities to watch my students grow!
What do you love about ECU?
I was born and raised in Greenville, ECU has always been a part of my community, therefore getting to attend for undergrad was a dream come true for me. I was the second generation of my family to attend college, following in the footsteps of my sister who began attending two years before me. We are both teachers now and are currently working towards our Master’s in different programs, we will graduate in May of 2023. ECU has given me so many opportunities and opened so many doors my immigrant parents only ever dreamed of.
