Lloyd recognized as teacher of excellence

headshot of Robyn LloydRobin Lloyd is being recognized as the North Carolina Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (NCASCD) Teacher of Excellence on Feb. 4 during the annual conference in Pinehurst.

Lloyd graduated from ECU in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in special education. Currently, she is a resource EC teacher at Washington County Middle School. She is very involved in helping beginning teachers with curriculum, organization and technology.

“I am honored to have been nominated,” Lloyd said.

She is also a member of the Beta Upsilon chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG), an organization that promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. She has been a member since 2015.

The NCASCD enlists all educators in the improvement of educational opportunities for children and has a reputation as a prime source for critical thinking and unbiased information about education.
