Lou Anna Hardee recognized for over 50 years of service to ECU
Lou Anna Hardee, College of Education Administrative Support Specialist, was recognized for her 50 years of service to ECU by Chancellor Cecil Staton during a Service Awards Presentation and Reception on Tuesday, April 16. Mrs. Hardee began her career at ECU on September 20, 1968 in the School of Education as the Departmental Secretary for the Department of Secondary Education. East Carolina College received University status in 1967. From 1968 to 2019 Mrs. Hardee served under six School or College of Education Deans; four interim College of Education Deans; and six ECU Chancellors.
