2019 Educator Excellence Summit Announced and Open
We will be holding the 2nd Annual Educator Excellence Summit which will be held on June 12th and 13th! Last year we had a great turnout with educators attending from 26 districts. This year we have moved the venue to the ECU Heart Center to avoid having to cap registration and to ease up parking.
The conference is one of the activities we facilitate to give educators an opportunity to earn CEUs for attending sessions directly related to their practice. Topics will be affiliated with the NC Teaching Standards and may include: Leadership, ELL, Diversity, Bullying, Differentiation, Motivation, Classroom Harmony, Retention, and School amongst others.
This year’s venue is the ECU Heart Center to provide more space and better parking. We are excited to have exceptional guest speakers presenting on important educational topics, Microsoft providing training sessions for educators on how to utilize Microsoft Office 365, and we will be including Mursion again in several of the sessions. We will also be including at least one additional set of sessions. The exact number of synchronous sessions will depend on registration numbers and proposal submissions, but there may be up to four. In addition to the main conference, we will also be offering a Teacher Leader Seminar from 1:30-4:30 pm on June 13th that is limited participants who preregister for it.
