Pirates Plunder Costa Rica
Accounting for 6 percent of the world’s biodiversity, Costa Rica served as the living lab for a group of nine graduate students and two faculty members from the East Carolina University College of Education Science Education Department. The group’s seven-day journey through the lush jungles and nature preserves of Costa Rica was led by two guides from the Council On International Educational Exchange.
Along the way, the group traveled to Alajuela, the cloud forest of Monteverde, Bajo del Tigre, an elementary school in Monteverde, and more. To read all about the group’s experiences and to see a gallery of photos, click here.
