COE Faculty Member Authors New Edition of a Classic Textbook

Abbie Brown, Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Science and Instructional Technology Education, recently published, Teaching Strategies: A Guide to Effective Instruction, 11^th Edition. Dr. Brown is one of four contributing authors.

“It’s a great honor to be an author for this text,” said Brown. “The book’s first edition came out in 1980 and it’s been a popular foundational text in teacher education programs ever since.”

Dr. Brown joined the author team in 2002 for the seventh edition.   His contributions include content related to instructional technology.
