Staff Excellence Award


Award Description

The College of Education Staff Excellence Award recognizes outstanding SHRA staff members and EHRA Non-Teaching Faculty who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service within the College of Education. Recipients are celebrated for their exemplary dedication to their work, collaborative spirit, and positive impact on student success and a culture of care, belonging, and opportunity for all. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their ability to inspire and support others make them invaluable members of the college community, deserving of this prestigious recognition.


Awards Per Year

One award will be conferred annually. A financial stipend will be awarded to the winner, contingent upon available funding.


Eligibility

Applicants must:
  • Be employed as SHRA staff or EHRA-NT faculty
  • Have been employed in the COE for at least 1 academic semester
  • Demonstrate excellence in their dedication and service in the College of Education with an emphasis on collaboration, commitment, and cultivating a culture of care, belonging, and opportunity for all.
Nomination Application Procedure and Guidelines

Nominators may only submit one nomination per award category. Individuals submitting nominations (self-nominations are accepted) should submit all required materials via the form, which will be available soon.

Required Application materials:
  • Cover letter (Not to exceed 2 pages)
  • Supplemental Material (Not to exceed 5 pages)
    • Examples can include: examples of initiatives or projects led or supported that enhanced student success or operational effectiveness; documentation of collaborative efforts within or across units; brief narratives describing contributions to a culture of care, belonging, and opportunity for all; evidence of process improvements, program coordination, or service innovations; summaries of feedback or recognition from colleagues, supervisors, or campus partners; or artifacts demonstrating sustained commitment and impact within the College of Education
  • Optional — CV/Resume
